I Am Another You

Flash your drive, do we get to survive?

Used to be I had to fumble for my keys

Staring down the dark path, somehow I found the looking glass

These days I fly between the trees

I am another you.

Pounding cake, layered mistakes

Creates what it takes to no longer want to hide

If you are frightened then so am I

Is it time yet, time to die, yet live on?

I am another you.

The wind comes from somewhere

The rain stops at nothing

The sea, a chaotic clash of grains of sand and bio masses

Mixtures of time disgrace the human race

I am another you

The planet has a cure in place

Below the fire, and despite your war

The seeds of grace will fix her

Dispell your pain in the melting pot of the elixir

I am another you

Forthwith, with force

Barren land sprawled under a graceful horse

By it’s fierce and powerful loins I woke up on this day

Your comfort was the breeze that blew the dust away

Revealing the shiny sapphire

I am another you
